There is no catch. You get what you see and there are no hidden charges or anything like that. Our model is based on economies of scale, with the idea of making fully managed websites accessible to small businesses.

By subscribing to our website service, you agree to an initial contract term of 24 months, during which cancellation is not permitted. After the initial 24-month period, you have the following options:

• Website Refresh & Renewal: You may opt for a website refresh, which ties you into a new 24-month contract.
• Rolling Monthly Contract: If you choose not to refresh, your website will continue on a rolling monthly contract, with a 30-day notice period required for cancellation.

Yes, the domain (i.e. your website address) is yours, even when we buy it for you. If we’ve bought the domain for you and you want to transfer it to a different service provider, we’ll be happy to do it for you. Please bear in mind, in some cases there may be a small admin fee for domain transfers.

We are not a website development platform, we are an affordable web design and management service; we do all the work for you, whereas with Wx and Squarespace etc. you have to make and manage the website yourself. By the way these platforms are great if you have the time and skillset to use them.

After the initial 24-month contract period, you may choose to transfer your website to another provider. Upon request, we will provide you with all files and data related to your website, or Assist in transferring it to a compatible service.

However, please note:

• Any premium software, page builders, or plugins that were licensed through One Stop Web Works will not be included. You will need to purchase and license these separately if required.
• You will need to arrange your own hosting and take full responsibility for managing all aspects previously covered under your monthly subscription, including:
  • Website Hosting
  • Technical Support
  • Website Updates and Changes
  • Automated Backups
  • SSL Certificates (if applicable)
  • Technical Updates

If One Stop Web Works has purchased the domain on your behalf and you wish to transfer it, a transfer fee of £20 + VAT will apply.

Unfortunately, no. We only offer websites as an ongoing service through a monthly subscription model – we believe this is a much better way.

You own all the written content of the site. You own any images that you provide to be used on the site. Any professional images and icons used on the site are purchased and licenced by us, therefore they remain property of the provider, licensed to us.

The websites we provide can only be hosted on our servers and cannot be transferred. However, you are welcome to create another site that is a copy of the one we’ve provided.

All the written content on the site belongs to you, so you can use it freely to develop another site.

However, please note that your site may contain premium images and icons which are licenced by us, so you may not be able to use them unless you licence them yourself directly from the source – other than that, we do not make any intellectual property claims for our websites.
